On the opening night of the Palm Springs International Film Festival (January 6th), Talent Fund Advisory Committee member Carol Hill along with her husband Paul hosted an annual private reception in their Indian Wells home where generous guests got to meet and mingle with established Canadian filmmakers and emerging talent, in support of the Talent Fund. Amidst the lineup of parties and events leading up to the Oscars in late February, Talent Fund board members along with several distinguished donors celebrated the ongoing success of the Talent Fund at Paramount Pictures Studio in L.A. with 2017 Talent Fund recipients Molly McGlynn and Katie Boland.
The following day, Telefilm and the Consul General of Canada in L.A., Zaib Shaikh, hosted the annual toast to Canadian Oscar nominees at the official residence. Many major Canada and U.S. outlets were in attendance with media coverage reaching over 230M. Click here for photos from the celebration.
