In celebration of our Canadian Talent and in the pinnacle of awards season, the Consul General of Canada in Los Angeles, James Villneuve, hosted a Canadian contingent of artists, Talent Fund donors and noted celebrities at the Consulate General of Canada in LA.
In attendance at the event were Talent Fund Advisory Board members Sandi and Jim Treliving, Michael J. Phelps and Carol Hill. Notable celebrity guests included Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek, Thirteen Days), Andrew Walker, Robert Herjavic (Dragon’s Den™) and Gil Bellows (Shawshank Redemption, Ally McBeal). Also in attendance was Canadian Screen Award recipient and Talent Fund Micro-Budget recipients Cory Bowles and Aaron Horton, as well as Collette and Tom Barber, Gail Addison, Nancy Burke, Joy Phelps, Jo-Anne Brown, Sandy Riley, Rod Senft, Ian Telfer, Kym Johnson and Peter Brown.
