“I have a lot owed to the Talent Fund and Telefilm because they funded Firecrackers, my first feature. And that feature is basically a launching point for my career which was played at the Toronto International Film Festival and travelled around the world, winning awards – and now I can call myself a working director who have opportunities both here and in the United States.”
